  • Inconsiderate Bad Habits

Some bad habits are just plain inconsiderate. The person does their behaviors without a thought to the person he is affecting. A little attention to the feelings of others would stop many of these bad habits in their tracks.

Many people have inconsiderate bad habits in the kitchen. You will find them drinking from the milk jug or juice carton. They do not consider that someone else might not like to drink after them. They are in the habit of doing it, so they do not think about it.

Someone might have the bad habit of opening two liter bottles of pop and leaving the caps off. This is inconsiderate to the person buying the soda because the soda goes flat. No one will drink it. It is also a bad habit to open carbonated drink cans and drink a few swallows only. Many people will do this and then right away open another.

The refrigerator is a source of trouble in some homes. People have certain bad habits there, too. They might take food out of the refrigerator and leave it on the counter to spoil. They may simply stand in front with the door open, staring as all the cold rushes out.

If you have an older refrigerator, they may have bad habits about not filling ice cube trays, and leaving them in the freezing compartment empty. Some people have bad habits of freeloading. They will clean your refrigerator out of food in no time at all if you do not watch them. They will take food when they have been offered none, and when they are offered some, they will take more.

Sometimes people staying with you, or living with you as roommates, will do some cooking. If they have bad habits and do not clean up their messes, you will not appreciate the food they cook no matter how good it is. After awhile, you will just wish they would stop cooking altogether.

Other bad habits have to do with the bathroom. Sometimes, people hog the bathroom. They will not leave time for anyone else to get in to use it. You may need to go to work the same time as they do. If they do not let you get in to get ready, they will be on time and you will be the one who is late. That is very inconsiderate.

Men have been told forever, it seems that their bad habits of leaving the toilet seat up are inconsiderate. They do not realize that a woman, not expecting the seat to be up, can actually get injured by falling in too hard. It is not a pleasant subject, and it is not a pleasant thing to happen.

Other bad habits involve vehicles. You might be in the habit of leaving your car windows down. If you are accustomed to this, you will be ready to put them up if you know rain is coming. However, if you leave someone else’s windows down, they may not be prepared. Also, it is a bad habit to borrow a car and not put gas in it.

If you think of other people every day, you will be less likely to engage in inconsiderate bad habits. You will find that you are appreciated more if you find ways to control your behaviors and curb your bad habits.

  • Anger Management for Teens

As the kid comes to understand the world of being a teenager, there are many confusions and chaos, which can sometimes bring some impact to their growth. As kids make the transition, many elements can make their body and mind out of control. This may turn to anger if not guided well. Parents and teachers must educate the kids of the different transitional changes that will happen to their body.

Teens can react indifferently if they are confused. Young teens from twelve to sixteen years of age are more prone to doing things their own way because they feel that their emotions and freedom are being controlled, this results to unmanaged anger.

Teens of today’s world are more prone to pressures compared to the teens of the past. They are more exposed to violence and hostility. Other teens may come from a broken home where domestic abuse are constantly present. By the time they are starting to grow, they are exposed to things like these problems, so they tend to get out of control. They might have angers that can be expressed in the most antisocial form. That is why sometimes, they are required to undergo anger management.

Teens may experience frustrations that drive them to do criminal acts. The best way to revive a teen from this world is to seek help from their parents, teachers and law enforcers. They can train the teen on how to respond rationally to all these stress. They can teach the teens how to identify negative feelings and practice more mature behaviors as well.

Anger management programs can also be of great help to these suffering teens. This special program teaches them to improve their behaviors in ways that are more acceptable. They will be taught on how to think positive especially if they are from families who do not show them positive responses to stressors. From this, they can now learn how to handle difficult feelings.

  • Coaching for Life – The Social Thinking Being

Human beings are social beings, living out each of their lives in the company and presence of others. There is no known claim that a person can live on his own without degrading himself less of a human being. Each person, being social as he is interacts with the people he comes into contact with.

The normal process of learning would be for each person to impart something, a thought, a practice, a belief, a philosophy, or the mere absence becomes the learning experience for the other to start seeking for answers to be properly integrated into the self.

Throughout the lifetime of a human being, he will be able to share himself and be shared with by others. The influences that subtly change a person into what he is during the present is what he got from coaching for life by those he had been with.

Coaching for life is quite simple to comprehend. It is the way an individual’s personality have an effect with those people in his environment. The closer they are physically, and socially the greater will be the impartment and thus would have a greater change in the attitude and behavior.

Though not necessarily impertinent in the sense that it overshadows another person’s fundamental behavior, it deviates and shifts the behavior of a person. It becomes a two way process for the involved people, and a two way process to the individual.

    The Paired Two Way Process

Coaching for life could cause either positive or negative results to the other individual. The same goes for that same person by the people around him. Depending on what is more influential; a specific mindset is subjected to a myriad of possible outcomes in terms of belief, attitude, and philosophy in life.

Morality is only a supplemental factor in determining what type of person arises from the many interactions he may get throughout his lifetime.

Like a river run dry, any new rainfall will definitely fill up the dry riverbed, but the water that would fill the riverbed may be murky due to the accumulated dirt when it dried up. Over the course of time, water coming from the mountains, filtered and cleansed will start to replace the murky water that once occupied it.

Our characters are analogous to this dry river bed. We are always an empty vessel in constant need of social interaction and the quality of character building depends on the people who carry the “water” that would fill us. Coaching for life is an essential part of staying human, being able to think, feel, reason out, and take action with the events that come our way.

    It Never Ends

Even those who have physically passed away still have their philosophies immortalized by those who have been affected deeply. Coaching for life may extend beyond the grave through the legacies these dead personalities leave behind for others to ponder upon. A classic example would be the teachings of faith by Jesus Christ, Mohammed, Buddha, and similar religious entities to their followers.

Several hundreds, perhaps thousands of years have already passed and yet, their words and teachings are still kept as guides for spiritual growth and personal contentment.

Coaching for life for these personalities have been immortalized to such extent because of their great impact to the people who accepted their philosophies and beliefs as their own.

  • 5 Tips To Wipe Out Depression

    Are you lonely?

Did you know that being lonely is a normal part of our everyday lives.

Lets face it, we’ve all been there.

We get depressed when we fail in our exams, when we’re rejected by the person we love, or when someone very close to us passes away.

    That’s just part of life.

But, depression, however, can be more fatal than just plain loneliness. It could render Life-Long consequences that could ruin your Self-Esteem, Health, and Well-Being in the process.

Well today is your lucky day because I’m going to share with you some great tips to help you conquer the ‘Melancholy Mood’ so you can get the MOST bliss out of your daily activities.

So, with that said, lets go to Tip #1.

Tip #1. Do you get enough Light and Sunshine?

Did you know that lack of exposure to sunlight is responsible for the secretion of the hormone called Melatonin, which could trigger a dispirited mood and/or a lethargic condition.

Melatonin is only produced in the dark. What it does is it lowers the body temperature and makes you feel sluggish.

So, if you are always cooped up in your room (with the curtains closed), it would be difficult to restrain yourself from staying in bed.

This is the reason why many people suffer from depression much more often in winter than in the other seasons.

It’s simply because the nights are longer.

If you can’t afford to get some sunshine, you can always lighten up your room with brighter lights to help offset the darkness.

    Or…

You could go have lunch outside the office for a change and take frequent walks in the early afternoon instead of driving your car over short distances.

The choices are endless. It’s really up to you.

Tip #2. Keep Busy and Get Inspired.

You’ll be more likely to overcome any feeling of depression if you keep your mind busy doing the activities you like doing the most.

    Do the things you love.

If you’re a little short on cash, you could engage in simple stuff like taking a leisurely stroll in the park, playing sports, reading books, or engaging in any activity that you have passion for and would love to pursue.

    Also, set a Goal.

No matter how difficult or discouraging life can be, remain firm and have an unshakable belief that you are capable of doing anything you desire.

With this kind of positive attitude, you will attain a cheerful disposition to beat the blues.

Tip #3. Take a Break. Sit back and Relax.

    I mean it.

Listen to some soothing music you like. Soak in a nice warm bath. Simply take a break from your stressful workload and spend the day just goofing around doing the things you love.

In other words, go have fun. Life’s to short as it is.

Tip #4. Maintain a healthy diet and Stay Fit.

Avoid foods with lots of Sugar, Caffeine or Alcohol.

Sugar and caffeine may give you a brief moment of energy; but they will later bring about Anxiety, Tension and Internal problems.

Alcohol on the other hand is a depressant. Many people would drink alcohol to simply “forget their problems.”

All they’re doing is aggravating their conditions in the process.

Also, did you know that exercising regularly is a vital depression buster.

    Why you ask?

Simply because it allows your body to produce more Endorphins than usual.

Endorphins are sometimes called “the happy chemicals” because of their Stress-Reducing and Happiness-Inducing properties.

Tip #5. Get a Social Life outside of work.

No man is an island. Your inner circle of friends are there to give you moral support.

Spending time and engaging in worthwhile activities with them could give you a very satisfying feeling.

And we all know… nothing feels better than having group support.

And… never underestimate the power of Touch.

What I mean is… doesn’t it feel so good when someone pats you on the back and gives you words of encouragement during your most challenging times?

    Hug or embrace someone today.

    Get intimate.

Establish close ties with your family and friends.

The love and care expressed by others could tremendously boost your immune system and fend off illnesses.

Best of all, you’ll live a more secured and happy life.

Now go give those 5 Tips a try and see how they pan out for you.

  • “Manifesting”- Just Another Buzzword or…?

Being new to a lot of the contemporary self-improvement thing, I’m still trying to get used to this word, “manifesting”. It just wasn’t in everyday use for the biggest part of my life. In high school and college, though we may have been trying to “manifest” a party or a member of the opposite sex, we sure weren’t using that word.

How many times did you have to manifest a ride to somewhere? Or how about “blogging”– another example of a new buzz word that many people don’t quite get– or what about “cell” phone? How many of us really know how the word “cell” applies to our wireless mobile telephones?

    Anyway, I digress.

So, if like me, you’re still finding the term “manifesting” kinda like a strange pair of shoes, just know that the meaning and practice, if you will, goes back thousands of years. Semantics is the only thing that makes it seem new. Various philosophies and religions throughout history have included faith and disciplines for maintaining faith as part of their teachings.

Now, I’m not going to go off writing an article about religion here. Let’s keep it simple, okay. Most of us can agree that we are exposed to too much bad news and negative drama from the newspapers, television, etc. It can be very depressing and maybe that’s why so many people take anti-depressants. If we simply had more constructive and positive input, people could relax more and gain a brighter view of things. All this negativity causes people to worry about their money, health, and relationships.

Actually, when you look at it, what all the drama and news stories are pretty much spewing out, has to do with money, health, and relationships. So, we watch that and it starts happening to us.

You can believe what you see. Likewise you also see what you believe. In order to counter-act all the negativity, all you can do is create an alternative scene. That’s what manifesting, visualization, law of attraction, faith, etc., are all about.

When you watch a kid in the sandbox playing with his toy trucks, he’s enjoying “pretending” he’s an adult, moving the earth and building real roads with real equipment. We don’t consider the child insane or delusional for this, do we?

Anyone ever heard of SBDS – “SandBox Deficiency Syndrome”? So far they’re only drugging kids for fidgeting in class– it hasn’t moved to the sandbox quite yet. When that happens, we may as well pack it up and find another planet to play on. The child is quite aware of reality and at the same time willing to participate in an alternate reality. As we get older, we tend not to pretend and as a result, get stuck in the framework of “the real world”. We accept only one reality because that’s the mature thing to do.

It’s merely too silly to consider alternate realities—I mean… what do you want to do, turn into some kind of Steven Spielberg or something? And what would be wrong with that?

If you’re in a rut with life and have settled for less, it’s time to start manifesting a better reality for yourself. After all, you are the one who manifested where you’re at right now. So, get back in the sandbox and break out the Tonka trucks. It’s okay to pretend! When you do it enough, it becomes real. Everyday is a new chance to create new scenes for yourself and manifest something good. Don’t rely on the TV to do it for you. Has anyone seen that bumpersticker, “KILL YOUR TV!”?

    Good grounds for self-defense!!

  • Is Your Career Your Calling or Just a 9 to 5?

Do you remember your parents asking you what you want to be when you grow up? By the time I was in the 10th grade, my mother started asking me that same question until I graduated. At that time I wasn’t 100% sure what career path I would take, but I had several ideas.

Your calling is that passion that you have deep inside – the career that defines your purpose in life. Someone once told me if you find a job that you love you’ll never have to work a day in your life. Some of us work in careers for so long that we are numb on the inside and outside. We go from appointment to appointment and our days are so mundane. We hardly get any enjoyment out of what we do because it is just another 9 to 5. Have you recently said, ‘I could do this job with my eyes closed?’
People who choose a career, instead of their calling, wake up disappointed that they have to go to work. They hate facing another day. If you find your calling and pursue it, life will become an adventure and not just another 9 to 5.

    Ponder over these statements:

Your passion directs you to your calling.
A calling is who you are.
A career is what you do.
    A calling is 24-7-365.
    A career is a 9 to 5.
A calling is what you would do for free.
A career is what they have to pay you to do.
A calling cannot be measured with money or fame.

In conclusion, take a few moments to ponder over what is going on in your life today and figure out if it compensates towards your calling. Listen to your mind, body and soul. Don’t worry about what others will think or even if they will agree to whatever calling you move towards. Live your life as if tomorrow is your last day on Earth. Enjoy today because tomorrow isn’t definite.

  • 5 secrets on how to be the biggest loser

I am a “Loser”. You’re going to learn from this article today the reason why you too must be a “Loser”. In all seriousness, let me share with you why I am writing this.

Over twenty million Americans watched the evolution of a winner in a reality show called “The Biggest Loser”. This particular show involved severely overweight and obese contestants that had simply lost all control of their weight. The winner that ultimately lost the most body weight and decreased his overall body fat was awarded $250,000.

I want to correlate this show to business, life, and to personal success. You need to be the Biggest Loser when it comes to changing your associations with others. One of the contestants on the show was severely obese to the point that others would look at him and say to themselves, “He will never be healthy…he’s past the point of no return…he’s really disgusting.” But that person made the decision to change his life and become the ultimate winner… The Biggest Loser.

I want to share with you 5 secrets on how you can become a BIG LOSER!

    Secret #1 – Realization

You must realize where you are today. The winner of the Biggest Loser realized that he was overweight and would ultimately die from his decisions to allow himself to become so unhealthy. He realized that enough is enough, and he made a change. I challenge you today to take a look at where you are in your business and/or your life. Have you had enough? If so, then you need to “lose” all your negative habits and associations.

    Secret #2 – Accountability

As soon as the contestants realized where they were in their lives, they became accountable to their teammates (a.k.a.Mastermind Team) in order to become the Biggest Loser and drop massive amounts of weight. These individuals look like completely different people. This is similar to your progression towards your ultimate Why in life. People start saying that you are changing…you act different, you sound different, you listen to different CDs, you read different books and you even look different. You are on a success journey and accountable to Champions on your Mastermind Team. Where are you in your life? Are others noticing these differences about you? If not, it’s time to drop the negative associations and habits just like those contestants dropped that weight.

    Secret #3 – Extra Step

The contestants pushed themselves to go the extra mile by participating in extra workouts, taking advantage of the extra associations with others that have goals and dreams like them and pushing themselves that extra step not to take part in indulgences that would ruin their overall goal of losing weight and becoming The Biggest Loser. Have you taken that extra step by attending extra events/seminars, making extra calls, investing in extra CDs and associating with extraordinary people? This extra step will push you to the next level and give you that edge that others don’t have.

    Secret #4 – Rewards

Reward yourself as you begin to change and go to the next level. When you go to an extra event/seminar, save the ticket, your name tag, etc. and put them in your dream journal. This is a way of saying “I did it! I went that extra step and now this is my reward!” Be excited about that extra step and reward yourself with praise and self-acknowledgment.

    Secret #5 – Personal Coach

Every single person on that show had a Personal Coach. Are you happy where you are in your life? Do you need to lose weight, lose debt, gain health, gain wealth, lose negative associations, gain a Mastermind Team, gain prosperity, lose failure and/or gain success? A major secret to achieve your ultimate why is the importance a Personal Coach. The first thing that The Biggest Loser did when he won the $250,000 was hug his Personal Coach. Why? Because his Personal Coach was there each and every step of the way. I know when I personally coach Champions and receive their emails/calls saying that they have gone to the next level in their lives, I experience great excitement in their accomplishments. That’s what happens when you become a Champion…that’s what life is all about!

You can’t do it alone! In order to become a Winner in life, you must first become a “Loser”. I suggest that you read this article another 5 times. Analyze where you are right now, where you want to go, who you must associate with to get there and the habits that you must lose to do it. For those of you who want to go to the next level, I would love to be your Personal Coach and I only coach Champions who truly believe that they are worthy to receive success and go to the next level in life! Go for it!
