• Eddy or Cross or Malay or Diamond toy kite wit...

Yes, our life is just like kite. Can’t believe it?

    Here is how it is:

We have to go against so many rejections and criticism to fly high, just like kite has to go against the wind.

But, this is not the point to be noted because we all know that.

No matter how much successful we become, we should be down-to-earth, because if the kite is not attached to a string (which is on land) then it will fly uncontrollably and will finally be found struck in a tree or lying neglected on some building’s rooftop.

“If you want to really fly high, go against the wind.

But don’t forget to tie a string.”

I always used to think that the world will automatically give me what I require. It will make me successful without my effort because of which I never thought of the question “HOW?” How the world will make me successful?

And today, while reading a quote, I was forced to think of the question “WHY?” in the same context. Why the world will make me successful?

    The quote was:

“The world owes you nothing. It was here first.”

    – Mark Twain

    Isn’t it a self-realizing line?

    So,

“In order to be successful, don’t depend upon the world. It owes you nothing.”

  • No, neither did you make mistake  in reading nor did I make mistake in writing.

    2+2 is not always 4.

    Surprised??

You have been learning, using and teaching everyone the same thing since your childhood and today you suddenly read an article titled “2+2 is not 4”, it would definitely not digest.

Its nothing contradictory to Mathematical calculations but yes, it is a call to change the traditional method of thinking.

The time has changed, we too have to change – ourselves, our perception and our belief system.

Now we need to start seeing things other way around (literally to stand on your head to see things upside down)

If you see things other way around, you’ll find that 2+2 actually means 14.

“Change your POV (Point of View) to be a POV (Person Of Vision).”

  • A Frisian Holstein cow in the Netherlands: Int...

“How can we get the best out of the life?” my mind questioned my brain at 05:30

And now my brain replied my mind at 21:30 (approx. after 16 hrs of arduous research)

Here is how the conversation went:

    Brain: “What cow gives us?”

Mind: “aaaaaaaa….. (Can you (the reader) answer this question?)”

(If you have thought the answer to “What cow gives us?” in mind, proceed further)

    Mind: “M__k”

Brain: “Really! Does cow gives us or we take it from her?”

(Of course, we put some effort and take the M__k from her)

So this conversation, teaches us how we can get the best out of our lives.

(NOTE: Here Mind signifies Sub-conscious mind and Brain signifies the conscious mind)

I met so many people in my life.

Some are still with me, some just went away but there were some who intentionally left me.

For all those who intentionally left me, here is what I have to say to you:

“The one who left me; didn’t leave me, they left their luck.”

  • Two Paths Through the Tangled Japanese Forest

I was reading the bio of a young author from Chennai, Priya K, at Frog books site where I came across a very interesting word “DEAd”.

    Any guesses??

Well, these are the paths which generally every parent guides his child to go for.

Yes, you got me right, its Doctor Engineer Accountancy…

And in the same context a line from Ralph Waldo Emerson is running and jumping into my head, here it goes:

“Do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

    -Ralph Waldo Emerson

I think the line explains what I want to say.

(NOTE: Heartiest thanks to Author Priya K (www.priya-k.com) who gave me permission to use her name in the title of this Article. Thank you Priya)

  • Friends, this time I’m serious.I’m writing this article only to communicate my message to you, specifically to YOU, who is reading this.

I was thinking about some of my past’s bitter experiences with my book “The Guideline of Life”

There is a saying, “Child is the father of man.” is it true? I question because of what I experienced.

I read in my Hindi language class in childhood that a child can do things which a man can’t. For instance, a child can be forgiven if he wears the crown of a King while a man wouldn’t even dare to think about this in his thoughts.

I’ve heard from many persons while promoting my book, “How can an 18 years old write a book?” This statement actually made me doubt myself.

Yesterday, I was reading some Bios of the authors at Frog Books website and I learnt about a 7 year old, a 16 year old and a 19 year old author.

I was amazed to see that none belonged to Punjab. Does Punjab lacks talent? Of course not.

Then why do we experience things like, “You are too young for it, you are too old for it”?

Do you think these type of discouragements increases our rate of growth? I don’t want to answer this, you all are very matured.

I want to know your thoughts about this issue of discouraging young talent.

If you won’t speak today, you won’t speak ever. Get up for your rights.

Hope you won’t experience the resistance which all the young talent is experiencing.

In the same context, I want to share with you a small story:

Once a jungle caught fire, all the animals ran out of the forest to save their lives. But one small bird was going to a near by pond, collecting a little amount of water in her tiny beak and was pouring on the blazing trees.

Another bird, who was running for her life asked her, “You are a stupid bird, do you think this small amount of water will stop the fire? Why don’t you run and save your life?”

And the bird replied, “I’m doing this because when the history of this jungle will be written, that time my name will not be written among those who ran but those who dared to stop the fire.”

This time too a history is being written, where do you want your name to be? Among those who made a difference or….?? Actions speak louder than words.
