• Do you know where the largest amount of resources of earth are hidden?

You read it in your primary school.

The book said, “The man dig the earth to get resources out of her.”

And being in Earth, we have the same characteristics as that of her.

Which means our greatest resource-base is nothing outside but within us, all we have to is dig ourselves – look within us.

  • PMA stands for Positive Mental Attitude.

But what for do you need PMA?

Let me tell you, PMA is a prerequisite for success. If you don’t have PMA, you can’t be successful (no exceptions).

You condition your attitude from different sources such as the people you meet, the articles and books you read and the visual programs (such as serials, news channel, celeb interviews and inspiring videos) you watch.

It is not late, you can start to develop PMA today by –

Meeting people who have positive perception and positive attitude towards life. They are the people who inspire you.

Reading inspirational articles and self-help books (including “The Guideline of Life“)

Watch successful personalities’ interviews, inspiring videos etc.

These small acts day by day will develop PMA in you and you’ll start to climb the ladder of success.

  • Now that sounds familiar? Ya, it was “2 brains are better than one” but how come “half”?

    Here it is how:

I’ve observed one thing common in all the corporate organizations I’ve gone in (exceptions are always there) and that commonality lies in the people of that organization.

Today we hear words such as “leg-pulling”, “back-biting”, “office politics” etc

Who do you think these things are done by? These are done by none other than the people of the organization (also referred as “internal customers”)

They use up half of their brain for these anti-productive activities and their so called anti-productive activities also eats up the targeted productive workers.

So guys, join your hands together to be productive because:

“Two brains are better than half.”

  • “Its survival of the fittest.”

    “There is cut-throat competition”

“You need to fight to get to the top.”

“If you can’t pull the other person down, how will you go up?”

“You need to USE the other person to get your work done.”

These are the statements you may be familiar with.

These are the statements we come to hear in the corporate world… and surprisingly, these statements are used by 97% of the people of the world who, as the stats states, earn only 3% of the world’s wealth.

But there is another bunch of people, they are very less in number… who don’t use the “Statements of competition” instead they use “Statements of completion” such as:

“Help others to get what they want, if you want to get what you want.”

“You need to complete each other to be the best.”

“2 brains are better than one.”

“If you pick up that person today, he may lend you hand if you fall tomorrow.”

These people are rare and are 3% of the total population making money as little as 97% of the total world’s wealth.

There exists two groups… where you want to go, only you’ll decide… but I know this that the person who follow’s 97%ers system will get what they get and vice versa, no doubt about it.

So… are you going to compete with each other or complete each other? This will decide in which category you fall… will you be a 97%er or a 3%er?

I didn’t realize this fact of life, till it happened to me.

I was in my 7th grade, when a Martial Arts teacher was appointed in my school and I was insanely curious about learning this amazing art. I was not able to join the classes for some reason, but I did join them in my (10+1) grade… that sounds too late, right?

But, its a reality of life that a dream conceived is a dream achieved.

I conceived the dream of learning martial arts and it came to reality… no matter how long it took to materialize.

Only one proof is not enough to justify the statement, isn’t it?

    So here’s another one:

I was in Brown belt and my martial arts teacher was going to leave the school, he told us (me and my very close martial arts partner) that he has something in mind for us.

He unveiled that he was going to help us appear in a black belt test… WOW!!!! I was going to hug him, but then I realized that I’m in school and there should always be a distance between a student and a teacher.

What now? That teacher left the school… but before leaving he gave me a dream of passing the black belt test.

But to pass, I’ve to appear for the black belt test… and he is not here, then how can I appear?

To my amazement, another martial arts teacher was appointed, and within 2 months, he too said the same thing to us (isn’t it a dream come true? yes, it is)

And we successfully completed our intense training period, appeared for the black belt test and successfully passed it…

Remember: “A dream conceived is a dream achieved.”

  • Who’s more superior?? Brain or the stomach??

At first instance, you will call out loud “Brain”

    Think twice.

Are you able to think when your stomach feels hungry??

    I can’t think

So… Stomach is superior to Brain as it is independent of it, while the brain is dependent on the status of the stomach.

The given diagram (similar to Law of Demand) is self-explanatory.

So, we can derive a perfect mismatch for both the brain and the stomach that:

“Brain and stomach are inversely related to each other.”

Everyone knows and says “Hardwork is the key to success.” isn’t it? You probably might have heard it from your parents, teachers, friends and obviously from your mind.

If really hardwork is the key to success, then why only a small percentage of people in this world are successful?

Is the statement “Hardwork is the key to success” wrong? No, not at all.

Then where lies the problem? It lies in interpreting the statement.

    What is Hardwork?

Hardwork is not to do vigorous physical work.

    Hardwork is not to struggle.

Hardwork is not to eat an elephant in one day.

    Then what is hardwork?

Hardwork, in simplest form, is doing a task consistently and persistently.

Hardwork is not struggle but progress dressed in the robe of struggle.

Hardwork is to have a bite of the giant elephant everyday.

Hardwork is to turn your white clothes brown from daily sweat and dirt.

So now you know what is Hardwork.

Will you be successful? The question is inappropriate, the better question which can be asked is:

    Are you doing hardwork?

Do you know what’s the biggest magic in this world?

Let me give you a hint, it’s not done with sleight of hand but sleight of mind… its named CREATIVITY.

  • I originally wrote this article on 21st May, 2010 and sent this to only those who are very close to me. First time, this article is being displayed publicly. It took almost 10 months for this article to be displayed publicly, so you can estimate, what’s the potential of this article.

(NOTE: Read at your own risk, because the article may make you to wake up and start doing what you should be doing)

    Here’s the article:

    Still people call us “LUCKY”.

Well… all I want to say is: take a look behind the screen and you will come to know the price we PAY…

I dare to pay the price… DO YOU DARE TO??

Before my Black belt test, a nail went half way into my feet and I was unable to walk properly for the next 2 days, still I walked…. that’s the price I paid.

My knee got injured badly during fighting practice, which required 1 week’s rest but still I came for the training after a day… that’s the price I paid.

During my 1st book publication, the publisher wanted me to release it as soon as possible, but I couldn’t because I was in Orissa competing with other states of India… still managed to release the book in such hectic and tensed situation… that’s the price I paid.

When I started my consultation business… many people said you are too young, and there were times when I had to attend such trainings which were away from my hometown and I didn’t sleep for 2 days… but still managed to run it to a whole new level… that’s the price I paid.

When I was made the SPL of the school, My friends said that I’m the servant of teachers now… Listened to them, but still managed to gain the experience and bagged the SPL trophy… that’s the price I paid.

People said the worst student of SHS – Manhardeep can never even improve, how can you imagine him to be the best?? … Worked hard day and night, mingled with the best people even when they ignored me, hated me… and managed to become the best, grabbing the Best outgoing student of SHS… that’s the price I paid.

There were times when my power and authority was misused and when I required my friends, there was none… still managed to stand alone to face the challanges… that’s the price I paid.

The list can go endlessly… but what the point is: “There is nothing like being Lucky, you need to see behind the screen and see what the price we pay.”

And “If you want to tell about your failures and your weaknesses proudly, be successful…”

Even still I keep paying the price… because I have the guts to do whatever it takes… for I know only one taste and that is the taste of SUCCESS… See you at the TOP!!

  • I found out that one of my juniors, where I study writes poetry. So I requested her to write something on me.

    Here is what she wrote:

“Like an independent bird in the sky,

    Having hope in its life,

    Having faith in thoughts,

    Through indefatigable wings

    That is Manhardeep Singh.

Like a fighter in a battle field of life,

Having spark to do many things,

Having courage to make possible of rare,

    Through positive thinking,

    That is Manhardeep Singh.

    Like a fast blowing wind,

Having power to make things in favor,

    Having passion to grasp new

    Through art of rapid questioning

    That is Manhardeep Singh.

    Like a charming daffodil,

    Having spirit to distribute delight,

Having beauty to be always polite,

It shows through the way of talking,

    That is Manhardeep Singh.”

Thank you Sneha, for such howling verses.
