• We never thought that a small creature like Lizard can teach us anything, but it did.

I was in the corridor and suddenly a lizard fell down on the floor, it swiftly came to its comfortable position and with a blink of an eye… WOW!!! it was again on the wall. Such an amazing thing it taught by doing all this.

It taught us that every creature is given some special ability just like Lizard can stick to walls, birds can fly, fishes can swim fast, humans can think… and even though we are given these special abilities still no one is perfect. Though we use our special ability (i.e. to think) everyday but don’t think that you won’t fall… and when you fall, don’t worry… its ok! Just dust yourself off, come to your normal condition and go to the same position again.

The same principle is followed in airlines too. A pilot who meets with an (plane) accident is positioned to fly as soon as possible because if they won’t, then that fear of fall (accident) will eat up his confidence.

You too might have experienced the same feeling, if you have met with an accident. We become normal only after driving the vehicle 2-3 days. Till then we are very cautious about driving, isn’t it?

I still remember when I used to fall while learning to cycle, my dad used to say, “It’s ok… stand up, sit on the seat and drive up faster.” Yup, the speed acted as a catalyst.

When I used to drown while learning swimming, my trainer used to say, “It’s ok… stand up, come to normal position and do it again.” And it worked.

When a move/ action didn’t happen during my martial arts class and I fell, my trainer used to say, “It’s ok… stand up, dust yourself off and try again.” And it worked.

Ups and downs are part of the life. We need to learn to dust ourselves off and get ready to race again.

So what will you do when the next time you fall? Simple, think of a Lizard.

  • If Tomorrow Never Comes?

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,

    Young or old alike,

And today may be the last chance,

You get to hold your near ones tight.

     ♦

So if you are waiting for tomorrow,

    Why not do it today?

    And if tomorrow never comes,

    You’ll surely regret the day.

So hold your near ones close today,

    And whisper in their ear.

Tell them how much you care about them,

And that you’ll always hold them dear.

Take time to say, “I am Sorry.”

“Please forgive me”, “Thank you” or “It’s okay”

    And if tomorrow never comes,

You’ll have no regrets about today.

    Remember this Quote,

    “Live everyday to it’s fullest………,

           What if tomorrow never comes?”

  • I had a preserved word file titled “Art of Living” I don’t know from which source did I actually get this. Never mind. Let’s enjoy reading. There you go:

    Art of Living

    Appreciate good art and deed,

The doer will feel encouraged, indeed.

     ♦

Be tightly busy but timely relax,

That fears and worries may not tax.

    Difficulties, failures are stepping stones,

For gaining ascent to the higher zones.

Five great enemies we must heed,

Wine, Anger, Vanity, Lust and Greed.

He who does not wear a smile,

Is quite ignorant of living style.

    Intoxicants of every kind,

Ruin the body, brain and mind.

Joys, if shared, are better enjoyed,

    Sorrows divided, get destroyed.

    Knowledge and habits, earlier gained,

Need to be checked, on merit retained.

    None can harm you,

This truth is know to person a few.

Organs which you do not use,

Sooner or later, you will lose.

Right thing at right time and place,

Crowned with success, joy and grace.

Set your mind on positive thoughts,

    Avoid resolutely, the negative lots.

To maintain health, all doctors advice,

Good diet, fresh air, sound sleep and exercise.

Unless body and mind are sound,

Real happiness can never be found.

    World peace is universally sought,

Only by Altruism it can be brought.

Youth is not only matter of years,

But of attitude blooming with cheers.

Zeal is a powerful activating force,

Better utilized for a virtuous course.

    Give up superstitious all,

    It is modern time’s call.

  • The poetry I wrote based on the theme “Dawn and Dusk” with limited word count.

    Cycle of Life

Dawn, the very starting of life,

When everything seems so pure and white.

The flowers bloom with a sunny smile,

Their leaves dancing in the soothing breeze while.

The sunshine feels enchanted and nice,

The green land underneath the young life lies.

The pleasant dawn but for a moment arise,

Teaching the young the meaning of life.

Then the dusk, the end of life,

    Stops everything even the alive.

Not to talk about it –

    It has sweet lies.

Both of them but teach us something in life:

‘Life is incomplete if either of them does not arise’.

  • .

Of course, mind can hide as well as unveil the things you want to see or hide.

Eugene Taurman experienced this and said, “What you see depends on what you thought before you looked.” So true.

A classic example proving this can be:

When you come home from your workplace/school/college and you are tired, all you want to see is your bed. And suddenly when you enter the home, your mom asks you, “Beta, could you please get me the sugar bowl, It may be lying in the front left shelf of the kitchen.”

You deny saying, “I won’t be able to find it.” But she forces you and you go to the kitchen with tepid steps and come back to your mom and say, “See I told you na I won’t be able to find the bowl.”

Your mom tells you to go and check again. You go once more and reply the same to your mom once more.

Your mom frowns at you, holds you from your wrist and drags you into the kitchen. She points her finger towards the first left shelf and BHOOSH!! The sugar bowl appears.

And your mind says, “It was not here when I looked at this place.”

Remember what you said before looking “I won’t be able to find it” that’s right.

So you certainly saw what you thought before looking.

  • Today I was just sorting out my mailbox, deleting all the unnecessary mails and suddenly I came across a document file. I opened it up in Google Docs… and WOW!!! that’s my oldest article.

Yes, the article “The Secret of Life” is indeed the oldest (not one of the oldest but the oldest) article which I wrote and was publicised in the school when I was in my ninth grade… cool!!!

Instead of writing the whole stuff again, I used the technology and has uploaded the image of the same here, checkout.

  • Contrary to my previous post “The insight of the rich system” here I’m explaining why rich can’t be rich any more.

Why I choose to go against my last post is because we might have heard many rags to riches stories, but there too exist riches to rags stories unread, unexplored and unsaid.

So here is why rich can’t be rich any more.

We all heard it from our school teachers, “It requires hardwork to be the topper and more hardwork to retain that position.” My aim was not to get you that nostalgic feeling… hahahaha… anyways, the same rule applies to life too. If you want to be at the top, you have to do hardwork and if you want to retain that top position you have to put in more hardwork, that’s why I believe Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and all richest people still go to do their homework.

But what drives a person to do hardwork?

My site’s homepage says it “Every need and every deed has a reason – its dream .” So it is our dream that keeps us moving.

The young generation of such rich people do not realize this fact. Whatever they utter, it comes to pass. They don’t have any dream to work for. And sooner they are conditioned that only by uttering things come to pass. What happens next? When their time comes to work hard, they don’t know what it is and they fail and become an example which is not to be followed.

So rich can’t be rich any more, until the success traits are passed on to the younger generation and one of such success traits is HARDWORK!!!

  • The Secret says because of the law of attraction the rich gets richer and the poor, poorer.

    And it is true too.

Let’s see the insight of the same:

Rich do not become rich over-night. They build up a system that earns them the money.

A common trait which can be used to differentiate between Rich and Average is:

An average will always make money with his two hands and one brain (no exceptions) and the rich doesn’t do what the average does (that’s why he is Rich and not average), i.e. The rich creates/ hires millions of hands and brains to work for him.

A classic example relating to this concept can be that of Bill Gates, who has highly qualified and highly talented people working under him.

    Feels self-realising? isn’t it?

Are you building a rich system for yourself or are you a part of someone else’s system?

It’s never too late, start working from now onwards, start building up a rich system, because if you won’t then definitely someone else will.

  • We never know, but its true that when we push, we actually pull.

Mother Teresa understood this phenomenon very well, that is why she said “I don’t want to be a part of any anti-corruption, anti-terrorist rally but if there would be any peace rally, I would love be the first person to lead.” When we push, we pull.

The best selling book of 2006, “The Secret” too explains the same phenomenon saying whatever our mind thinks, our body gets, irrespective of whether we like it or not.

I understood this phenomenon from a conversation between two of my friends – Joseph and Michael.

Michael answered to a person, which was perceived by that other person wrongly and which created a lot of trouble for Joseph.

What could you have expected from Joseph? He shouted upon Michael, telling him how he should not have answered what he answered. And Michael, on the other hand also started shouting that he said what was actually going on. The room had a tense atmosphere. And Joseph didn’t realize that what he is pushing is actually being pulled by him.

I came to action and rescued both of them from this phenomenon, otherwise, they would have finished their friendship in that room because of a small misunderstanding.

I told Michael, “Michael, you are absolutely right. You are right at your point of view.” When I pulled Michael’s idea, he opened up his mind to my words and I continued, “But Michael, there is another way to answer that question, do you want to know that?” I wanted him to open up to me rather than me forcing him to open up. Without taking much time he said, “Yes, I want to know how can I answer that question better.”

I told him what he can say in the future if someone asks the same question. During the whole conversation I made Joseph to be quite because Michael has already closed his mind to his words. And everything went smooth as expected only because instead of pushing we pulled the idea.

So sometimes, when we push, we actually pull.

  • I came across a line which helped me to derive a formula with which we can estimate, whether we will succeed or fail in the future.

The line is “Success and excuses never move together.”

But to be successful, we also have to perform actions. Without actions failure is inevitable.

So here is the formula which can be derived,

    Actions + Excuses = Failure

    Actions – Excuses = Success

Which formula will you use in your life, you decide.
